Join us for a hands-on community service experience at The Healing Center in Hamilton County, Ohio, where we will work together to make a positive impact in our community!
Students will spend the morning volunteering with The Healing Center, an organization that provides essential resources and support to individuals and families in need. During our visit, students may help with a variety of projects, including:
Sorting and organizing donated clothing
Checking food expiration dates
Stocking pantry shelves
Preparing essential items for distribution
Other projects that help The Healing Center serve the community
This is a great opportunity to give back to our community, work as a team, and gain real-world experience while making a difference for others. No previous experience or training is required—just a willingness to work, help others, and be a positive representative of our school.
What to Wear:
Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED.
Wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty.
Be prepared to move around and work for most of the morning.
Food:
I will provide snacks for students during the field experience. We will return to school around 12:30 PM, and students will eat lunch when we return.
Important: Space on this field experience may be limited. Students who sign up are expected to participate fully, follow directions, work respectfully with others, and represent our school and program appropriately.
