Aviation Juniors ONLY - Statehouse and Supreme Court

• Aviation Juniors have the opportunity to visit the Ohio Statehouse and Supreme Court as a part of our state government unit.

Your student has the opportunity to participate in a field trip to the Ohio Statehouse and Ohio Supreme Court in Columbus, Ohio. This experience will provide valuable insight into our state’s government, history, and civic institutions.

Tentative Schedule

• 7:45 am – Depart from DRL
• 9:45 am – Arrive at Ohio Statehouse
• 10:00 am – Guided tour of the Ohio Statehouse
• 11:00 am – Lunch (boxed lunch provided)
• 11:45 am – Tour of the Ohio Supreme Court
• 1:00 pm – Depart from courthouse
• 3:00 pm – Arrive at DRL

******Please note: Students must have their own transportation to get home from DRL, as we will return after regular bus transportation has ended.******

Important Information

• Cost: This opportunity is provided at no cost to all students in attendance.
• Lunch: Boxed lunches will be provided.
• Weather: Students should dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions.
• Health & Safety: Students are expected to comply with all health and safety requirements required by the host organization.
• ******Transportation: Families are responsible for ensuring students have transportation home from DRL at 3:00 pm.**********
