Description
Experience rock wall climbing at RockQuest. Rock wall climbing is an exciting, hands-on adventure that challenges students to test their strength, problem-solving, and confidence as they climb. This activity is for everyone, from students who have never climbed before to those with lots of experience, because there are different routes with different levels of difficulty. Trained staff will help and encourage students so they can challenge themselves while staying safe.
How to dress: Comfortable clothes to climb in. Examples: short-sleeve t-shirt, socks, with leggings, sweatpants, or longer shorts. You will have to wear a harness-do not wear short shorts (if your shorts are to short or do not provide good coverage while in a harness, you will NOT be able to climb). They will provide you with rock climbing shoes, so please wear socks.
Bus will leave from DRL at 10:15AM.
In order to participate, you MUST have your parents sign 2 documents:
1. Butler Tech permission slip form that will emailed to your parents.
2. You MUST go to the link provided link and sign the RockQuest Waiver.
**If you do not get these 2 documents signed and turned you will NOT be allowed to go on the field trip. A parent note or phone call will NOT work.**
