The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is an application that needs to be filled out and on file in order to qualify for financial aid though the government. This can be in the form of grants, scholarships, and loans. Most colleges use this form when identifying student financial need and merit (GPA) based scholarships. In order to be ready for this session, the student and a parent must have an FSA ID on file. This is the username and passcode for entering the FAFSA form. Please see Mrs. Becker if you need help getting this done. The FSA ID can be created here: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. This will save you and your parent time during the session on the 26th. Parents are highly encouraged to come, but not mandatory. If parents come, then you will be able to complete all parts of your FAFSA.
