Description

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not”—Dr. Seuss. The struggle is real for so many, but you can be a difference maker. Whether you are super handy, or you haven’t quite mastered how to use a hammer, or you are just looking to get community service hours, your skills will be put to good use in this service opportunity. We will go to a home located in Butler County through SELF (Support to Encourage Low-Income Families), a non-profit organization in Hamilton, Ohio. SELF helps low-income Butler County homeowners with free home repairs and mobility modifications. This service opportunity will give you a chance to make the world a better place. Last year, SELF helped more than 100 senior citizens, people with disabilities, and families with young children who were physically and financially unable to do the work themselves. No repair skills are required, just a willing heart to serve others. Spots are limited, so don’t delay in reserving your opportunity to change the world!
