Field Trip - Kentucky Horse Park

This is an FDE field trip to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.  Students will have an opportunity to explore the International Museum of the Horse, see the horses up close, and engage with experts in the equine industry.

Please see the approximate schedule listed below:

7:40am - Bus leaves from DRL
9:45am - Arrival at Kentucky Horse Park
12:15pm - Lunch
1:15pm - Depart from Kentucky Horse Park
3:15pm - Arrival at DRL (*All students must have their own transportation to get home.  We will not arrive at DRL until all buses have left for the day.)

Cost: This opportunity is provided to all students free of charge.

Lunch: Boxed lunches will be provided for all students in attendance.

Weather: We will be outside almost all day.  Students should dress appropriately for the forecasted weather.

Health & safety: All students are expected to follow any health and safety guidelines put in place by the host organization.

Transportation:  All students must have their own transportation to get home from DRL.  We will not return to school until all buses have left for the day.
